I was inspired by Deleuze's concept of the "shock to thought", and from this idea, I began experimenting with double exposures as a way to create unexpected encounters. In this series, what emerges is not simply one image or another, but the force of their encounter, an intensity that disrupts perception. For me, the double exposure became less about technique and more about encounter, a visual disruption that unsettles habitual seeing and calls forth alternative modes of perceiving, feeling, and imagining. What results is not only a transformation of vision, but a little shock that happens through thought itself.
